The Online Islands Worth Visiting
Why I Built These Islands in the First Place
Let’s take a breath and be honest for a minute.
The Internet used to feel like an open shoreline.
It was smaller.
More personal.
More interesting.
A little less engineered.
You could put something online and there was at least a reasonable chance the people who cared about it might actually find it.
Now the biggest destinations feel like enormous ports where every ship, tourist, billboard, argument, dance video, political speech, product pitch, and artificial-intelligence gorilla is fighting for the same ten seconds of attention.
You may have 500 followers.
That does not mean 500 people will see what you post.
It only means a giant website has 500 names attached to your account while an algorithm decides what happens next.
So I built Islands.
Not One Giant Everything-Website
Freak Sites is not one enormous website divided into unrelated categories.
It is an archipelago of separate niche advertising websites called Islands.
CarsFreak.com is built around cars and everything automotive.
TravelersFreak.com is built around travel, accommodations, timeshares, destinations, and experiences.
HousingFreak.com is built around homes, rentals, land, services, and housing opportunities.
RunnerFreak.com is built around runners, races, coaching, products, and personal achievements.
Each Island has its own domain, identity, subject, audience, Parking Spots, Channels, and Affiliate Program.
You may love cars and have no interest in travel.
Good.
Visit the car Island.
You may care about housing but never run farther than the refrigerator.
That is fine too.
Visit the housing Island.
You do not have to visit every Island.
You only need to stop at the one that fits.
What Will You Find There?
You may find someone selling a car.
Someone advertising a house, rental, piece of land, or timeshare.
A business explaining what it does.
A coach promoting a service.
A traveler sharing an experience.
A collector showing something unusual.
A creator promoting a video, product, event, project, or lawful opportunity.
Some Parking Spots will be direct advertisements.

The Islands Are Meant to Be Used
I did not build these Islands to sit offshore looking pretty.
I built them so people could advertise something real.
Sell something.
Rent something.
Promote something.
Showcase something.
Explain something.
Tell the story.
Create one Parking Spot and you have one page.
Create more around the same subject, business, collection, service, or interest and you begin building a Channel.
A Channel can become a garage, showroom, portfolio, directory, business presence, travel collection, media property, or something nobody expected when the first page was created.
The Islands are not just places to visit.
They are places to build.
Most People Are Spectators
That is how the giant online platforms were built.
People supplied the attention.
People supplied the content.
People supplied the conversations.
Advertisers supplied the money.
The platforms became monsters.
Most of the people who helped build them remained spectators to the upside.
Freak Sites was designed differently.
Participating Islands include free Affiliate Programs. When a qualifying advertiser purchases through your properly tracked path, you may earn a commission.
The current system may distribute up to 55% through one connected five-tier path.
Income is never automatic or guaranteed.
