FREAK SITES™ PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to FreakSites.com and to any current or future Freak Sites™ Island that links to it. Freak Sites, Inc. may be referred to as Freak Sites, we, us, or our.

Freak Sites operates straightforward WordPress advertising websites. This Policy explains the information needed to run those websites, publish Parking Spots, process purchases, operate Affiliate Programs, prevent abuse, and respond to users.

We do not need your life story. We collect and use information reasonably connected to operating the websites and the features you choose to use.

1. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

Depending on how you use an Island, you may provide information such as:

  • Your name, username, email address, telephone number, and account information
  • Business or profile information
  • Parking Spot titles, descriptions, prices, categories, photographs, videos, links, and contact details
  • Affiliate registration, referral, commission, and payout information
  • Purchase, billing-contact, refund, and transaction information
  • Messages, comments, support requests, and other information you choose to submit

Different Islands may request different information because a car, house, trip, running event, weapon, business, service, or other subject may require different Parking Spot fields.

2. PUBLIC PARKING SPOTS AND PROFILES

Information you intentionally place in a public Parking Spot, profile, comment, story, or other public area may be visible to anyone. It may also be indexed by search engines, shared on social media, linked from other websites, cached, downloaded, copied, or saved by visitors.

Public information may include your display name, business name, photographs, descriptions, prices, location, telephone number, email address, website links, social-media links, embedded videos, and anything else you choose to publish.

DO NOT PUT INFORMATION IN A PUBLIC PARKING SPOT THAT YOU DO NOT WANT THE PUBLIC TO SEE.

Removing information from an Island does not guarantee that copies will immediately disappear from search engines, browser caches, social-media posts, archives, backups, or other locations outside our control.

Photographs may contain metadata, including location data. Remove that information before uploading an image if you do not want it included.

3. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

Like most WordPress websites, Freak Sites and its service providers may automatically receive basic technical information when you visit or use an Island.

This may include:

  • IP address and approximate location derived from it
  • Browser, device, and operating-system information
  • Referring page or website
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, and access times
  • Login, session, account, form, and transaction activity
  • Cookie identifiers
  • Error, security, spam-prevention, and server-log information

This information may come from WordPress, HivePress, website hosting, cookies, security tools, reCAPTCHA, payment processors, affiliate software, embedded media, and other services actually used to operate an Island.

4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

Freak Sites may use information to:

  • Create and maintain accounts
  • Publish, edit, display, and manage Parking Spots, profiles, and public content
  • Process purchases, refunds, and payment disputes
  • Provide StoryDrive™, Video Features, and other purchased services
  • Operate separate Island Affiliate Programs
  • Track referrals, connect customers to affiliates, calculate commissions, and administer payouts
  • Send account, purchase, affiliate, support, security, and service messages
  • Prevent spam, fraud, automated abuse, unauthorized access, and manipulation
  • Moderate content and enforce site policies
  • Diagnose technical problems and improve website operation
  • Maintain records and comply with legal obligations

We may send optional promotional emails where permitted. You may unsubscribe from those messages, but necessary account, purchase, affiliate, security, support, and legal notices may still be sent.

5. COOKIES, ORDER ATTRIBUTION AND AFFILIATE TRACKING

Freak Sites uses ordinary browser cookies and related technologies for website functions such as login, sessions, preferences, security, spam prevention, order processing, WooCommerce order attribution, embedded content, and affiliate referral tracking.

When someone arrives through an affiliate link, the applicable Island may store a referral cookie identifying the referring affiliate. The current cookie period may be up to 120 days unless it expires sooner, is blocked or deleted, is replaced by another qualifying referral, or cannot be read because of browser, device, or technical limitations.

An eligible customer account may also be connected to the referring affiliate for qualifying future purchases on that same Island under the current Affiliate Terms.

A customer connection on one Island does not automatically apply to another Island. Blocking, deleting, restricting, or otherwise preventing cookies may affect login functions, embedded content, order attribution, purchases, and affiliate commissions.

Freak Sites does not currently use a network-wide behavioral advertising system or a secret recommendation algorithm to determine what advertising a visitor sees or who receives an affiliate commission. Affiliate attribution is based on available referral links, cookies, customer-account connections, transaction records, and the current Affiliate Terms.

Additional information about these practices is available in this Privacy Policy and the Freak Sites Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these practices, please do not use the applicable website.

6. PAYMENTS

Payments may be processed by Stripe, PayPal, or another provider identified at checkout. The payment processor collects the payment information needed to complete the transaction.

Freak Sites generally does not receive or store your complete payment-card number or card security code. We may receive limited information such as your name, billing contact, transaction identifier, payment status, payment-method type, card brand or last four digits, refund or chargeback status, product purchased, and purchase history.

Payment processors use information under their own terms and privacy policies.

7. COMMENTS, reCAPTCHA, AND EMBEDDED CONTENT

If comments are enabled, WordPress may collect information entered in the comment form, the commenter’s IP address, browser information, and information used for moderation and spam prevention. A Gravatar image may appear when that feature is enabled.

Some forms may use Google reCAPTCHA to reduce spam, fake registrations, and automated abuse. Google may receive technical and interaction information when reCAPTCHA loads.

Parking Spots may include videos or other content from YouTube, Rumble, Vimeo, TikTok, maps, social-media platforms, or other third parties. Loading or interacting with embedded content may allow that third party to receive your IP address, browser or device information, cookies, account status with that service, and information about your interaction.

Freak Sites does not control the privacy practices of those third parties.

8. WHO MAY RECEIVE INFORMATION

Freak Sites does not sell personal information for money and does not provide customer lists to unrelated companies for their independent marketing.

Information may be available to or processed by:

  • The public, when you intentionally publish it
  • Website hosting, database, WordPress, plugin, email, security, anti-spam, and technical-service providers
  • Payment processors
  • Affiliate software and eligible affiliates receiving limited referral or commission information
  • Third-party platforms whose links, videos, forms, or other content you choose to use
  • Professional advisers or contractors when reasonably necessary
  • Government authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, safety, legal claims, or enforcement
  • A buyer or successor if Freak Sites or an Island is sold, transferred, reorganized, or combined with another business

Affiliates do not receive complete payment-card information. Freak Sites may limit or hide customer-identifying details where reasonably appropriate.

9. USER-SELECTED LINKS AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Users may place external links, affiliate offers, booking links, videos, widgets, advertisements, or other third-party material inside their own Parking Spots.

Those third parties may collect information when their content loads or when a visitor clicks or interacts with it. Freak Sites does not operate, control, endorse, or adopt every third-party service selected by an advertiser.

Freak Sites does not currently operate a network-wide behavioral advertising or data-broker program.

10. DATA RETENTION AND SECURITY

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate accounts and Parking Spots, maintain affiliate and transaction records, process payments and disputes, prevent fraud, meet tax or legal obligations, maintain backups, and protect the service.

Public Parking Spots may remain active until removed under the applicable terms. Transaction, affiliate, security, and accounting records may remain after an account or Parking Spot is deleted.

Freak Sites uses reasonable security measures appropriate for a WordPress website, which may include passwords, access controls, encrypted connections, software updates, hosting security, backups, anti-spam tools, reCAPTCHA, and established payment processors.

No website or online storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting passwords, securing their devices, and reporting suspected unauthorized access.

11. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES

You may be able to view or update account information through your Island account. You may also email support@freaksites.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with your account.

Please identify the Island, account email, and information involved.

We may verify that you control the account or email address before responding. We may retain information when reasonably necessary for transactions, taxes, accounting, fraud prevention, security, disputes, legal obligations, another person’s rights, or operation of separately maintained Island accounts.

Where applicable privacy law provides additional rights, Freak Sites will process qualifying requests as required. Freak Sites does not discriminate against users for exercising legally protected privacy rights.

12. CHILDREN

Freak Sites is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not knowingly create accounts, purchase advertising, join an Affiliate Program, or submit personal information.

If you believe a child under 13 improperly submitted personal information, contact support@freaksites.com and identify the Island involved.

Minors should not post home addresses, personal telephone numbers, school information, precise location, financial information, or other sensitive personal information in public Parking Spots.

13. UNITED STATES MARKET

Freak Sites is operated from the United States, and Freak Sites websites, products, advertising services, Affiliate Programs, and commercial services are intended for users and customers in the United States.

Freak Sites does not intentionally market its commercial services to residents of foreign jurisdictions.

The Internet may allow a person outside the United States to view a publicly accessible Freak Sites website. The ability to view a website does not mean that Freak Sites is intentionally offering products or services in that person’s jurisdiction.

Information may be processed or stored in the United States or wherever our service providers operate.

If you are located in a jurisdiction whose laws or requirements are incompatible with the normal operation of a Freak Sites website, please do not use the website, create an account, purchase a product, or participate in an Affiliate Program.

14. CHANGES AND CONTACT

We may update this Privacy Policy when our websites, providers, features, or information practices change. The revised version will be posted with a new effective date.

This Policy should be read with the Freak Sites Terms and Conditions, Advertising Terms, Advertising Refund Policy, Prohibited Ads Policy, Affiliate Terms, Legal & Earnings Disclosure, Report a Content Rights Concern page, and applicable Island-specific terms.
